Guess who Daisy was! Give up? "Daisy" was the nickname of Juliette Low, the
original Girl Scout. She started this whole Girl Scout thing! Girl Scout Daisies get to do
fun stuff just like Daisy did.
Daisies do lots of fun things like:
-
Girl Scout Daisies, girls in grades k-1, meet in groups of five to 10 with two or more adult leaders in a nurturing, inclusive environment. They go on trips, learn about nature and science, and explore the arts and their communities.
Girl Scout Daisies can also earn Learning Petals, receive participation patches and do good work in the world around them using the It's Your World -- Change It! and the new It's Your Planet -- Love It! Girl Scout Leadership Journeys.

Being a Girl Scout is about having fun and making friends — but it's more than that. Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place.
Learn more about what it means to be a Girl Scout.
Journeys provide an important foundation for each level in Girl Scouting for girls and volunteers. Just by following a journey, members will be engaging in the Girl Scout Leadership Experience (and practicing some Girl Scout traditions!). When the Journey ends, girls and their volunteers can apply what they have learned to everything else they do in Girl Scouting.
It's Your World -- Change It!
Meet Amazing Daisy and start your own special garden project, then watch it grow! Wear your garden proudly on your vest or tunic — Watering Can, Honey Bee and Amazing Daisy awards show what you can do!
Welcome to the Daisy Flower Garden!
In this journey for kindergartners and 1st graders, a favorite pastime — gardening — meets the Girl Scout Law. The result is a storybook world of flowers and little girls who, together, do great things. Girl Scout Daisies will especially enjoy meeting the colorful, global characters who teach them to live the Girl Scout Law.
Daisies will explore global diversity (people, plants and languages); plant facts, the environment and caring for the land; and Girl Scout history and the values of the Girl Scout Law.
On this journey, Daisies can earn three awards (sold as a set) which includes a watering can, a honey bee and a daisy. Their fun keepsake is a bracelet adorned with characters from the storybook garden.
It's Your Planet -- Love It!
While Loving the Planet, Get Outside! Girls and their volunteers get lots of ideas for hiking, camping, testing the air, and watching the stars.
Between Earth and Sky
The flower friends take a cross-country road trip that invites Daisies to explore what sprouts up across the country. As Lupe and her flower friends zip along in Lupe’s petal-powered car, the Daisies witness some wonders and woes of nature, and work toward earning their clover (use resources wisely!), Blue Buck and Firefly awards.
On this journey, Daisies can earn three awards which include a firefly, bucket and clover. Their fun keepsake is a necklace with center silvertone daisy with pail, firefly and clover flower charms attached.
