Brownies get to find out what it's all about!

Brownies do lots of fun things like:

  • Girl Scouts Brownies earn Girl Scout Brownie Try-Its, and explore their community. Friendship, fun, and age-appropriate activities begin at the Girl Scout Brownie meeting and move out to the community and wider world.

Girl Scout Brownies can also receive participation patches and do good work in the world around them using the It's Your World -- Change It! and the new It's Your Planet -- Love It! Girl Scout Leadership Journeys

What It Means to be a Girl Scout

Being a Girl Scout is about having fun and making friends — but it's more than that. Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place.

Learn more about what it means to be a Girl Scout.

Journeys provide an important foundation for each level in Girl Scouting for girls and volunteers. Just by following a journey, members will be engaging in the Girl Scout Leadership Experience (and practicing some Girl Scout traditions!). When the Journey ends, girls and their volunteers can apply what they have learned to everything else they do in Girl Scouting.

It's Your World -- Change It!

Join the elf, meet her friends, and together find clues to uncover the three keys. Then see what excitement they can unlock.

Be The First Brownies To Take The Quest!

Shhhhh! Girl Scout Brownies are about to set off on a quest to find three very important keys. Leaders will know exactly what these keys are, but the girls won't have a clue. This is a quest, after all! It's important to keep the mystery going.

Along the Quest, Brownies will meet some special new Brownie friends (Campbell, Alejandra and Jamila) who team up to save the family tree. Their story, the centerpiece of the first half of the Quest book, serves as a springboard for the real Brownies to choose their own Take Action Project.

On the Quest, Brownies earn three awards: one for each key -- and, ultimately, a special lock. And, as a fun keepsake, Brownies can wear a necklace that also features keys and a lock.

It's Your Planet -- Love It!

While Loving the Planet, Get Outside! Girls and their volunteers get lots of ideas for hiking, camping, testing the air, and watching the

stars.

Wonders of Water (WOW)

The Brownie friends explore the Wonders of Water and Ways of Working as a team. Brownie ELF is back for the Very Wet Elf Adventure. In real life, the Brownies might just hold their own “Green” Tea for the Blue Planet as they earn their Love, Save, Share and Wow awards.

On this journey, Brownies earn four triangle shaped patches that represent water. And, as a fun keepsake, Brownies can wear a bead bracelet with blue water droplet shaped charm.
