Swimming Sense

Join the lifeguards of the YMCA to swim and learn about water safety. Girls will have free time to have a winter pool party and learn about water safety like what to do if someone is drowning, strokes to save your life if you are in the water, and create a cuddy system that works. This event is for all ages, tagalongs are welcome! Girls may not bring snacks into the pool area, but leaders are welcome to bring snacks for after the swim to be eaten away from the pool. Swimmers may bring Coast Guard approved life jackets. Juniors will fulfill requirements toward the Swimming and all girls will receive a Swimming Safety Fun Patch. Please see the next page for Badge requirements and Outcomes. We must have at least 10 girls or the program will be CANCELED!!!
