Ceremonies Self-Study Course
A self-study course on Ceremonies was developed for those who are not able to take the class in person. The course uses the videotape "Milestones to Memories." If you are interested in this self-study, you can check out the kit from your volunteer coordinator, complete the guide, evaluation, etc. and return them and the kit to the volunteer coordinator. She will then give you credit for the course. All the reference materials are contained in the kit. There is a charge for the kit if it is not returned in good condition.

Adventure Training

Kentuckiana’s Adventure Program is a progression of activities that are fun, active, engaging and challenging. From simple games to the challenging High Ropes Course, the Adventure program will enrich the Girl Scouting experience of everyone who takes part. The Adventure Program’s primary mission is to provide you, the troop leader, with the training, equipment and facilities necessary to create and lead adventure programs for girls. The best way to take part in the Adventure program is for you to become trained and qualified in the programs that interest you and your troop.
