Desserts First Owensboro - April 15, 2010

On April 15, 2010, from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m.at the Southern Star Central Gas Pipeline, Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana's Pennyroyal Service Center will hold its second annual Desserts First fundraising event. Owensboro's finest restaurant chefs will create original desserts using the well-known Girl Scout Cookie varieties as the key ingredient and present them for tasting (location to be announced soon). This signature event is open to the public at large and will create an opportunity in which guests may network and enjoy an evening with friends, while sampling delicious, one-of-a-kind desserts created for this event. The evening will also include music, hors d’oeuvres, auctions, a judging crowning the best dessert of the event, and many more surprises!

All funds raised from this event will go to Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana, which serves over 23,000 girls and 6,700 adult members in 60 counties in central and western Kentucky and southern Indiana.
